Suspicious fire in derelict farmhouse

Palmerston North police are appealing for information after a suspicious fire in a derelict farmhouse yesterday.

Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at the homestead on Aokautere Drive by a member of the public in the early afternoon, CIB Detective Constable Matt Akuhata said.

Police were treating the fire as suspicious.
