Residents, businesses and community groups sent in 158 submissions regarding South Wairarapa District Council plans for the Martinborough Town Hall.
Over 150 submissions have been made to South Wairarapa District Council as part of its 2014-2015 draft annual plan process.
Collectively, residents, businesses and community groups sent in 158 submissions to have their say.
Hot topics included the Rimutaka cycle trail, playgrounds, Featherston's town centre, the old Greytown library, footpaths
and roads, tourism, and the Martinborough Town Hall Community Centre project.
The Martinborough project contributed to a significant jump in submissions this year, roughly tripling from the 55 made last year.
There were 63 submissions which supported the project and 17 against, although one of the 17 included a petition of 549 signatures.
