Police say they are baffled by the disappearance of a 19-year-old Wellington man.
Daniel Antonius Hansman was last seen in Courtenay Place, about 11.40pm on Thursday.
Senior Sergeant Marty Parker of Wellington police said they did not know if the circumstances surrounding his disappearance were suspicious.
"We're a bit short
on leads, we're just following up on enquiries in the usual manner," Mr Parker said.
Mr Parker said Mr Hansman's family were "stressed and distraught".
"But they are working with us the best they can."
Mr Hansman was described as Caucasian, about 177cm tall, with a medium build and brown hair.
He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, dark long-sleeved shirt with sky-blue and grey vertical stripes and black dress shoes.
