Save Work on the $1.3 million upgrade to Carterton's Holloway St is progressing well, Carterton District Council chief executive Colin Wright says.
Contractors Oldfields have replaced the sewer system and powerlines, and are working on the footpath in Nelson Cres.
The public toilets and the bus stop opposite the library have
been demolished and the reserve will be completely re-landscaped.
Although the toilet block won't be replaced, a new one will be built in Memorial Square and the public toilets in Carrington Park will be upgraded.
