One person has died after a serious crash between a truck and two vehicles on State Highway 1 in Foxton.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Wall Rd at 12.15pm.
A police spokesperson said one person had died and another had minor injuries.
Diversions remain in place at Paranui and Wall roads.
Motorists have been asked to avoid the area.
