State Highway 1 has reopened following a serious crash near Kaiwaka this morning.
The single-vehicle crash was reported to police just after 7.30am.
“Initial reports indicate there are serious injuries,” police said.
State Highway 1 was closed between Kaiwaka Mangawhai Rd and Mangawhai Rd but has since reopened.
