Stabbed Auckland father loses fight for life

A father-of-seven stabbed in south Auckland on Tuesday night has died.
The 32-year-old lost his fight for life in Middlemore Hospital shortly after 9pm.
He had been stabbed several times in the back during a brawl on a forecourt between Burger King and the Caltex petrol station in Papatoetoe.
A
21-year-old courier driver from Manurewa will appear in the Manukau District Court tomorrow charged with his murder.
Police have found a knife believed to have been used in the attack, but are still hunting for other people involved in the brawl.
