A high profile family of sporting siblings is set for a High Court battle over their mother's will.
The Ropati brothers Peter, John, Iva, Joe and Tea were prominent rugby league players in the 1980s and 1990s, producing the only set of three siblings to represent the national team.
Butnow the seven brothers are named in court documents in relation to the estate of their mother, Margaret Joy Ropati, Fairfax reports.
Margaret is understood to have died in September 2014, having named sons Peter and Joe as the executors of her estate.
However, court documents show John Ropati has lodged a civil application naming Peter, a former Sky Sports commentator and Joe, who played nine tests for the Kiwis, as respondents.
