South Aucklander in hospital after domestic incident

A South Auckland man has been taken to hospital with life threatening wounds following a domestic dispute.

Police were called to a residential address in Favona, South Auckland in relation to a domestic dispute at about 4.45am today.

At the address, they found a male victim with serious, life threatening wounds.

"The victim has been transported to Middlemore Hospital for urgent medical treatment. Another male from the address is helping Police with their enquires," said police.

Police are speaking to a number of witnesses and are not seeking anybody else in relation to this incident.
