Sydney FC are set to field an unchanged 11 for the third week running against Wellington today, with things ticking along very smoothly at the historically unsettled club.
Sitting equal top of the table after five rounds with a deep squad and stability both on and off thefield, John Kosmina's men travel to Westpac Stadium full of confidence for the clash with the A-League's bottom club.
Wellington, still winless in 2008-09, have suffered a further blow with All Whites winger Leo Bertos a late withdrawal with an ongoing groin injury.
Despite it all, Kosmina said Wellington could be a danger game with Ricki Herbert's men desperate.
"It's a banana skin, 100 per cent," said Kosmina, Sydney's fourth coach in four seasons. "They've gone and spent money in the off-season to strengthen their squad and it hasn't happened for them. They're right where they were at the end of last season.
"We've got to be really, really careful because if nothing else they're going to come out and put up a fight in front of their home crowd."
Kosmina said he would stick with the same starting XI which thumped an undermanned Adelaide 3-0 last round and drew 0-0 at Newcastle the week before.
For Wellington, veteran striker Vaughan Coveny has been recalled and could partner Shane Smeltz in the front line as the Kiwi club look to end a run which has seen them score just three times in five matches, conceding nine.
