Save A 12-seater plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Whakatane Airport today.
A 12-seater plane with three people on board has made an emergency landing at Whakatane Airport after reports of smoke on board.
Fire Service spokesman Scott Osmond said there was reports the KingAir plane filled with smoke soon after take off and made an emergency landing.
Mr Osmond said emergency
services were notified at 3.11pm.
It landed safely, he said.
