Slip closes Titirangi's Scenic Drive as three tonnes of debris slams West Auckland

Emergency services are working to clear a land slip that has completely blocked Scenic Drive in Titirangi.

Three tonnes of debris including rocks, dirt and trees have fallen in a land slip that occurred this evening.

No cars were trapped or hit by the debris, Fire spokesman Jaron Phillips said.

It is not known how long the road will remain closed.

Fire service received the call before 6pm.
