Slip blocks Bay of Plenty highway

Save A slip has blocked State Highway Two at Taneatua on the Bay of Plenty this morning.
Police said the slip is around 2.5 kilometres north, towards Whakatane, of Fraser Road.
Most of the road is blocked and a truck and trailer unit has already crashed into the slip, police said.
Drivers are warned that there will be delays in the area and contractors are on their way to the site to clear the debris.
