Four people robbed a liquor store with a "slasher-type" weapon.
The Liquorland on College St in Palmerston North was robbed about 7.30pm Saturday.
One of the two shop attendants was hit with a wooden "slasher-type implement", police said.
His injuries were not serious.
Cash and tobacco were taken before the
robbers fled in a stolen red Subaru Impreza.
