A sinkhole in Christchurch is causing traffic delays.

A lane closure on Moorhouse Ave in Christchurch will now be in place until Monday morning.

One lane was closed after a sinkhole appeared in the street yesterday.

Road users are being asked to avoid the street until all lanes are open again.
