Confessions of a creche cleaner
"I recently took on a job cleaning for a daycare on my street," writes Carol. "The animal-friendly place has a duck, a rabbit, guinea pigs and frogs. The kids have named them and have a close bond with
all the critters. On my first day I was vacuuming and noticed a big dust bunny in the corner. I sucked it up and carried on with my remaining jobs, locked up and went home. Lying in bed I couldn't sleep - the giant dust bunny was niggling at my brain, so I threw on my dressing gown and went back to the daycare and opened up the vacuum cleaner. Sure enough, the dust bunny was an escapee from the frog tank, who had made his way across the dirty floor, disguising himself with dirt and fluff as he went. I washed him, put him back in the tank and hoped like hell he was still alive the next morning. He was, phew!"

Honker or texter?
A friend posted this on Facebook: "Imagine you're driving towards another car and see the driver with their head down texting away and so you decide to say 'heads up, mate' to them by blasting your horn, causing them to panic and swerve, clipping a parked car and smashing wing mirrors. Hypothetically and speaking for a friend, whose fault is it regarding the damage?" Most people were sure it was the texter's fault, except one guy who chimed in with: "The person who parked in a txting lane."
