Corrie loves Auckland
Eagle-eyed Ian Young writes: "After returning from holiday my wife and I were catching up on our favourite soaps last night. Towards the end on Friday 31 October of Corrie there is Kirk Sutherland with some other male members of the cast dressed in a shirt with "AUCKLAND" clearly shown on the back."
Battery failure thwarts attempt to return phone lost at Clevedon
Sarah dropped her handbag at the Clevedon Show, the contents scattered far and wide and in her scramble to pick everything up, she missed her phone ... "but some kind person found it and texted my daughter from it saying to call. But by the time she passed the message on and I called the next morning it went direct to my voice mail, so the battery must've run out. Even if the finder managed to locate a charger for my ancient phone there is a silly unlock code. It has seven years worth of photos and videos of special people and deceased pets on it. Yes I know, should have somehow put it on a stick or something but I wouldn't have a clue how to do that ... I know, first world problems ..."
