Sandra writes: "While waiting for the Western Springs lights to turn green, Hunter, 6, asked about the signs on the pohutukawa trees - 'Save us' and
'Leave these trees'. After talking about how beautiful they were and that they were 100 years old and how it would be so sad to see them go, I said I was on the 'keep the trees' team. He replied that he would be on the 'remove the trees team' as he was going to be a lumberjack when he grew up and some trees just had to go. Later he added: 'I don't think those signs are going to work.' Even 6-year-olds have an opinion."

"A couple of years ago, we stayed at a hotel in Collioure, on the French Mediterranean coast," writes a reader. We believe this is an oversight and that it will be enough for this simple warning that you remedy that situation."
