Street fashion The Sartorialist fashion blog published a picture of a homeless man in New York and called it "NOT GIVING UP" which inspired some comments which were truly beyond parody ... 1. "Yes he hasn't given up! He is so elegant even homeless! A kind of consciousness and love for himself." 2."You can just tell by looking at him that there's some sense of style wanting to be unleashed ..." 3. "I want those boots!!!!" 4. "It's so easy to believe that homeless people are down on their luck, but really they have a freedom the rest of us in society do not. The chaos of uncertainty can yield a freedom that eludes the rest of us with our perfectly clean lives ..." 5. "I often look at homeless folks for inspiration on what to wear. There is a certain softness to the clothes after being worn day-in, day-out. I also think they tend to wear exclusively what is necessary, something not too warm for the day, and a warmer layer for nights ..."
Long arm of the law The law has finally caught up with a woman who failed to return a Jennifer Lopez film she borrowed nine years ago. Kayla Michelle Finley, from South Carolina in the United States, was shocked when she was arrested for not returning Monster-in-Law to Dalton Video. Despite now being closed, the owner of the store had filed a warrant against Finley in 2005 - the film's year of release. But the 27-year-old was angry after she had to stay in jail for a night - and said the whole incident was a waste of police time. The middle-aged woman making blood-curdling screams in Cornwall Park, Auckland on Saturday February 15 would like to thank all the people who stopped to help. "I had dislocated my shoulder in the paddock thanks to the dog pulling my arm out of its socket and behind my back. I would particularly like to thank the kind and gentle Asian couple who called and directed the ambulance and took care of my dogs, and also, the park staff who took over care of the dogs until later in the day. "

There's a lot to choose from and as we like to try new products. Came across the 'Naked' range. Had a read of the merits of this as they touted "little ray of sunshine" and liked what we read so decided to grab 3 boxes of the little treats along with a couple of others. Get home and open and realise when they say little - they mean little! Come on Naked why suck the consumer in with a box that's the same as every other muesli option but with enough oxygen to go scuba diving with. Sure there are 8 bars but it would take almost two packs of your bar to match it with your competitors. Made in NZ - but wasting a while lot if NZ wood to make your packaging."
