A Masterton woman has walked away with the keys to a new car worth almost $25,000 after winning a Pak'nSave competition.
Dorothy Monaghan said she could not believe her luck when Pak'nSave staff told her she had won a Mazda 2.
"[I was] amazed, I didn't know what to say.
I thought they were having me on -- it was unreal."
She did not usually enter competitions and was shocked to discover she was the winner, she said.
The owner of Masterton Pak'nSave, Paul de Lara-Bell, said he hoped to run a similar competition again.
