'SheLovesHerDaddy' - Cory Jane welcomes daughter 'Prisseis'

All Black and Hurricanes fullback Cory Jane will join his team in South Africa this weekend, just days after the birth of his daughter, Prisseis Amelia Jane.

She was born on Monday night and weighed 3.8kg (8lb 5oz). Mum Amie and baby are home now and both are doing well.

Mrs Jane told friends that their daughter's name was a play on "Briseis" - a character from the movie Troy and the love interest of Achilles, played by Brad Pitt in the film.

Mr Jane has expressed his joy on social media platform Twitter.

"Just sitting on the couch wif my little princess in my arms. SheLovesHerDaddy," he wrote.
