Sharks in the dark over sex claim

Sharks officials say they remain in the dark over allegations of sexual misconduct by their players during their pre-season National Rugby League trip to New Zealand.

Chief executive Steve Rogers said yesterday that the club had received no further details from Christchurch police on the alleged incident on February 15 at the Racecourse Hotel, where the Sharks stayed. Sharks president Barry Pierce has said he was confident his players would be cleared of any wrongdoing.
