Session held to invigorate Carterton

Gladstone businessman Greg Lang is inviting residents to an "invigorating experience" on Monday which will look at revitalising Carterton's central business district.

"There seems to be an overriding passion in Carterton at the moment to see the district prosper," Mr Lang said.

"Groups across the spectrum within the district are working together to ensure that the district has a prosperous and vibrant future without losing our fantastic sense of community.

"These groups have committed funds and employed placemaker David Engwicht from Creative Communities International for 12 months.

"He has a incredible track record in turning the obvious into the unbelievable."

Mr Lang said that with Carterton's passion, creativity and energy, and Mr Engwicht's skill added to the mix: "I can see the district becoming even more special than it is now."

Mr Engwicht will give his presentation on revitalising the central business district at the Carterton Events Centre on Monday.

The presentation will start at 7pm.

"If anyone has even the slightest inclination of wanting to be part of what will become an invigorating experience, come along," said Mr Lang.
