One person is dead and three others are injured, one critically, after a three-vehicle crash near Hampden in North Otago.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Mile Flat Rd and State Highway 1 about 2.15pm today.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and
another was taken to hospital with critical injuries. Two other people have minor injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
