Two people have been seriously injured after a serious two-car crash on the Hawke's Bay Expressway.
Emergency services were called to the scene between the Kennedy Rd on-ramp and Taradale Rd at about 1.45pm today
A police spokeswoman said initial indications are that two people may be seriously injured.
The
road is closed with diversions in place.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
