Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash in Taranaki.
Police were alerted to the single car crash at the intersection of Glover and Ketemarae Rds in Hawera around 8.25pm.
A spokesperson said "initial indications" were that two people had suffered critical injuries.
Rescue helicopters have been dispatched
