Serious crash closes road in Stillwater on Auckland’s North Shore

A road in the Auckland suburb of Stillwater is closed this evening after a serious two-vehicle crash.

Police said emergency services were called to East Coast Rd about 7pm.

“Initial indications suggest there are serious injuries,” a spokesperson said.

The road is closed; motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.

A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said three patients in a moderate condition were assessed and treated.

“Only one person required transportation to hospital.”

The spokesperson referred the Herald to police for any further comment.
