Serious crash closes Northern Motorway lanes

A serious crash which closed two northbound lanes on Auckland's Northern Motorway has been cleared.

Emergency services were called to the crash at St Marys Bay, just past the Victoria Park tunnel, about 5.50am.

Two out of three lanes were completely blocked, however NZTA says the crash has been cleared and all northbound lanes are now free-flowing.

The Police Serious Crash investigation team are on scene.
