Police are hunting for a suspected arsonist after three buildings were extensively damaged by fire in a Marlborough Sounds holiday spot.
The suspicious fires in Whenuanui Bay, or Becks Bay, were reported at about 5am yesterday.
Two batches and a garage were extensively damaged.
Police appealed for witness reports onany suspicious people seen in or around Whenuanui Bay or Queen Charlotte Drive on Saturday or the early hours of Sunday morning.
