We are seeking experienced people to join our team at our
postharvest and coolstore facility located in Katikati, handling
the packing and storage of both kiwifruit and avocados.
Due to growth we are looking for people who enjoy a team
environment and where people are valued and developed as the
industry grows.
ASSISTANT LOADOUT COOLSTORE MANAGER
Our ideal person will be:
• Experienced in managing and controlling the movement of
fruit within the Coolstore and yard environments
• Able to supervise and train a team of seasonal forklift
operators
• Flexible due to seasonal demands and site shift patterns
• Culturally aware as we have a diverse workforce
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of H & S, fruit storage/
inventory management and quality outcomes
• Able to lead a team and work in a busy seasonal environment
• Experience in Kiwifruit preferred and hold a current OSH
Forklift licence
As part of our commitment to H & S in the workplace a
preemployment drug test is required for this role.
LINE MANAGERS - TWO POSITIONS
We are seeking people who:
• Have proven experience in supervising a team
• Are H & S focussed at all times
• Are excellent communicators - both written and verbal
• Can problem solve and have excellent time management skills
• Are team players, have a sense of humour and work well
under pressure
• Have kiwifruit or avocado industry knowledge preferred
