A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a bridge crash, leaving a second key West Coast highway is closed today.
Police say the accident happened on Cobden Bridge in Greymouth after a car and motorbike collided.
It comes a few hours after a truck burst into flames near Boyle River
on Lewis Pass this morning, closing the highway to traffic in both directions.
The rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
