Second leak found in Nelson sewer main

A second leak has been found in a sewer main near the Miyaza Gardens and Whakatu Marae in Nelson.

Repair work has started on the leak which was discovered this afternoon.

It follows another leak last Sunday which saw 15,000 cubic metres discharged into the Haven.

This resulted in a ban on swimming and collecting shellfish at the Haven.
