A search is underway for a hunter in the Kaimai Ranges, who hasn't been seen since 2pm yesterday.
Police have been in contact with the 21-year-old man, but he has been unable to identify where he is.
A team of 15 search and rescue members and the Bay of Plenty
Four Wheel Drive Club are searching for the man.
Police say he is not adequately equipped and bad weather is on the way.
