A search for missing Rangiora woman Emma Beattie is set to resume early this morning, targeting an area in the Ashley River.
Police and search and rescue volunteers will continue scouring the river area again after the 20-year-old disappeared from her home in Fernside late on Friday night.
A police
spokeswoman said teams would be out at 8am today searching areas of interest near the Canterbury river where they believe she had gone on Saturday.
Police yesterday appealed for anyone who may have seen her at the river on Saturday to make contact as there were concerns for her wellbeing.
She was believed to be wearing orange and black Nike sports shoes when she disappeared and possibly carrying a small brown drawstring rucksack with cream rope straps.
