Save Police are co-ordinating a search for a missing diver in Omaio Bay, Bay of Plenty.
The 30-year-old diver failed to return to the beach this morning after becoming separated from his companions.
Searches by plane, coastguard and local divers have so far failed to locate him.
The Police National Dive
Squad has been mobilised from Wellington and will continue the search in the morning.
