The search for a missing mum-of-three Nicola Hedley continues in Dunedin.
At least 40 people are now assisting police in the search for the 36-year-old, known as Nic, who was reported missing on Sunday.
The search involves police staff, LandSAR volunteers, and a host of local people from North andSouth Otago, all of whom are being fed and supported by the marae.
Hedley's immediate family have also gathered at the marae.
"Nic is a much-loved mum of three, daughter, sister, niece and friend and we all just want her home," said a family spokeswoman.
"Her parents and wider family are extremely worried about Nic and urge anyone with information to contact the police.
"We are all so thankful for all of the support from the public but want to focus on getting Nic home."
Sergeant Nathan White, in charge of the search effort, said police have been thankful the community's generosity and local knowledge, and are looking at using them for a flyer drop in mailboxes.

The search is centred around the area where Hedley was last seen: Harington Point.
Coastguard and the local surf lifesaving club have also been asked to assist.
The Otakou Marae is being used as the base for the search, and police were also grateful for the support and assistance of the local marae and iwi representatives.
"It's great to see the community rallying around, and the aroha and manaakitanga shown by locals supporting the family and being out there looking for Nic," said Senior Constable Toni Wall, Iwi Liaison Officer.
