Police are investigating a potential abduction in Christchurch on Saturday night when a screaming and struggling woman was bundled into a car that drove off at speed.
The woman has not been heard from since and police admit they have "limited information to go on".
They want to hear fromthe two people involved in the incident around the Portsmouth St area in Aranui about midnight on Saturday to confirm that the woman is safe.
"We don't know what has happened there, whether it was a domestic incident or what," a police spokesman said today.
"We've got limited information to go on and want to know if anyone has heard anything and whether the woman is safe."
