Rotorua Boys' High School students undie run
An undie run by Rotorua Boys' High School senior students celebrating the end of the school year has left the principal of John Paul College fuming.
Around 30 Rotorua Boys' High students were seen running along the city streets towards John Paul College about 11am today wearing nothing but theirunderwear.
They jumped the school's fence and ran around the field.
While such end of year pranks have become common in schools around the country, John Paul College principal Patrick Walsh was furious at the half-naked antics.
"They're trespassing on private property and are distracting my students."

His staff tried to round up their own students who were at the front of the school campus watching the boys run off the field and back on to the streets.
"We are trying to get students ready for exams and we don't need this happening."
Walsh said there was an understanding between local secondary school principals that end of year pranks wouldn't happen.
"They need to control their boys to stop them from doing this because they're a hazard on the road.
"We have Year 7 and 8 girls who don't want to be seeing this."
He said he had contacted Rotorua Boys' High School to discuss the incident.

Rotorua Boys' High School principal Chris Grinter would not comment when approached by the
Rotorua Daily Post.
Rotorua police area prevention manager Inspector Stuart Nightingale said police did not receive any calls regarding the incident.
"We can't do much about people just wearing their undies. The whole togs and undies analogy comes into play.
"Schools are well aware that these things happen and you hope students can act responsibly. We expect them to be safe and keep off the roadways."
Nightingale said there could only be police intervention when there was disorderly and reckless behaviour.
This follows an incident in Hamilton on Wednesday where six senior students from Waikato Diocesan School for Girls rode bikes in their underwear through the Hamilton Boys' High School grounds.
A Hamilton Boys' High School student was injured when his leg was run over by one of the bikes, resulting in a puncture wound that exposed the shin bone.
He was taken to hospital and police are considering charges over the incident.
