We are looking for a physically fit, energetic fitter to join our maintenance team. This position offers a wide variety of work and the plant onsite is modern and kept to a high standard of appearance and performance.
The ideal candidate will be a trade qualified fitterwith significant experience in a high-production manufacturing environment but other suitably experienced persons will be considered. Sawmilling or timber remanufacturing experience would be an advantage but is not essential, provided a suitable qualification is held.
The successful applicant will be able to work well as part of a team while also being capable of working well on their own with minimal supervision. The ability to communicate effectively and a keen eye for detail are key aspects of this role. Whilst the role is for weekday shifts, some weekend and on-call work will be required.
