Saatchi & Saatchi boss Kevin Roberts falls ill at event

Saatchi & Saatchi boss Kevin Roberts reportedly had to be helped off the stage at a function for business leaders in Auckland today.

Roberts was understood to have been helped offstage during his presentation at the international Thrive conference at the Aotea Centre.

Colliers International sales manager Charlie Oscroft, who was in the audience, told Fairfax Roberts was helped, but had not collapsed.

"He said he was feeling a little unwell."

A spokeswoman for Thrive said Roberts had felt ill, possibly due to tiredness.

"He's absolutely fine, there's no issue."
