The man who knocked out former Bay of Plenty Steamers player Simon Chisholm during a rugby game has pleaded guilty.
Farmhand Uenuku Porena Peita, 22, appeared in Tauranga District Court today charged with assault with intent to injure.
Peita punched Chisholm during a premier grade match in July.
Chisholm spenttwo days in Tauranga Hospital with bruising to the brain.
