A Royal New Zealand Air Force fire engine has toppled on its side on a North Western Motorway off ramp.

Emergency services were called to the incident at the Bringham Creek off ramp just after 9.30pm.

The off ramp is five minutes from the Royal New Zealand Air Force Auckland Base at Whenupai.

A Police spokeswoman said no one was injured.

The fire engine is blocking one lane of the off ramp.
