Jacob, Sam and Isaac Orsler turned their favourite Olympic moments into lego creations as the Rio Olympics unfolded by creating a lego scene for every medal the New Zealand team won.
New Zealand's Olympic success has been immortalised by three Lego-mad kids who decided to recreate some of the medal moments from Rio using the Danish blocks.

The Mt Maunganui brothers - Sam, 10, Jacob, 7, and Isaac, 5 - built 18 scenes depicting some of the success stories after Kiwispicked up four gold, nine silver, and five bronze medals.

The creations include rowing team Eric Bond and Hamish Murray grabbing New Zealand's first gold in Rio, Luuka Jones picking up silver in canoe slalom, and golfing sweetheart Lydia Ko's silver.
Historymaker and canoe sprinter Lisa Carrington, who defended her 200m title from London 2012 while also claiming bronze in the women's K1 500m, is also depicted as is Eliza McCartney's bronze-medal win in the pole vaulting.

The boys' dad, Brett Osler, said: "It was a family affair. We would all get up early and watch the Olympics so it became something that helped us follow the events in Rio.

"Sam ... drove it all and got the others into it. They decided they would create scenes of each medal winner and I would take the photos."

Inspiration for the kids largely remains topical so should athletic success continue there may very well be more creations.

Osler added: "They are all Lego keen. They'll think of something to build in the future."
Sam previously combined his Lego love with sporting success after he recreated scenes from the All Blacks' Rugby World Cup win.

They included Ben Smith receiving a yellow card, the haka, Dan Carter's drop goal and Ma'a Nonu's try.
