Rimutaka park closed for search

Police will close Rimutaka Forest Park for at least the next two days to take a fresh look for signs of missing Wellington woman Kaye Stewart.

Up to 80 searchers, including police search and rescue staff, police divers, police specialist search group members, land search and rescue volunteers, and 20 Army personnel, will comb the area.

Two weeks ago Mrs Stewart, 62, failed to return from a short walk in the Catchpool area of the park, near Wainuiomata, northeast of Wellington.
