National's Whangarei MP Shane Reti is well ahead of New Zealand First candidate Shane Jones in a Q+A Colmar Brunton poll.
Reti has 42 per cent support and Jones has 24 per cent. The Labour candidate, Tony Savage, is just behind Jones on 22 per cent. Greens candidate Ash Holywellhas 10 per cent.
The results were published this morning ahead of National's campaign launch in West Auckland this afternoon.

Reti is a first-term MP and Jones, a former minister in the Helen Clark Labour Government, joined New Zealand First only this year after serving a term as a special Pacific ambassador.
