Restaurant Month is back in the Heart of the City this August, bringing 31 days and nights of incredible foodie experiences and special menu offers to the table.

Make a date with your plus one, your friends, your family or yourself and taste your way around the city - there's everything from highly-awarded fine dining through to world cuisine and casual eats.

With over 100 special menus on offer at prices to suit every occasion, there's no better time to try out the city's newest openings or make the most of the month in your favourite restaurants.

Sample signature dishes by internationally acclaimed visiting chefs in the Chef Dining Series - including Mark Best from Marque and Dan Hong from Mr Wong in Sydney. Or devour different cultures in events inspired by global gastronomy and take a conscious approach to dining with the Good Fish Initiative, with sustainable seafood menus on offer.

Auckland's favourites are also back on the schedule too - Street Eats has more food and more space than ever before at Shed 10, on Queens Wharf and Wine AKL is set to be the wine-lover's ultimate annual day out.
