Renovations on the 187sq m, four-bedroom home finished last week and it is now on the market with the first lot of open homes held during the weekend. An auction is scheduled for Sunday, May 18.
Owner Krista Strong, who bought the property for $620,000 in 2002, has moved to Waitoki, about 40km north of central Auckland, and wanted to turn the cold and draughty home into a more liveable property in the hope it would result in a $2 million-plus sale.
