A reckless motorcyclist endangered others today when he weaved between vehicles, entered pedestrian-only areas and drove on the wrong side of the road, police say.
Rotorua police received five separate dangerous driving complaints about the rider of a blue Yamaha trail bike in the Lake Rd and Old Taupo Rd
area about 5pm.
Police are now seeking to identify the rider, who witnesses said was not wearing a helmet.
The man was described as Maori, in his early 20s, and wearing a blue hooded top, dark pants and a scarf covering his face.
Anyone who knew rider's identity was asked to call Rotorua police on 07 348 0099.
