Noah Hedgeman had the whole world in his hands yesterday, taking control - even if it was just for a wee while - of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.
The 3-year-old was among up to a thousand people at the orchestra's open day at the Auckland Town Hall. Those who wentalong were able to experience what it's like to be conductor, and among other activities, make their own instruments.
Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra spokeswoman Samantha Walker said: "We had a lot of families, with it being the last day of the holidays, and there were plenty of smiling faces."
Another open day will be held at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Manukau City on October 10.
