The team is disappointed that MotorSport New Zealand has over-ruled decisions of the Truck Racing Association regarding tyres and weight allowances, a move that would have levelled the playing field for competitors.
A number of teams complained about the new rule, so MSNZ has put the changes on hold until after Manfeild, when both parties will meet to hopefully sort something out.
However Little and his team have high hopes after removing several hundred kilos from the truck. A large part of that gain is the result of fitting a lighter and more efficient differential.
